1. Overview
MODOSE is designed as a local-first personal tracking application. Most information you enter into the app is stored locally on your device. MODOSE does not use advertising trackers and does not sell your personal information.
2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
Depending on the features you use, MODOSE may store protocol details, schedules, dose history, weight records, inventory and supply information, symptoms, notes, tracking preferences, profile settings, calculator inputs, injection-site information, and other app settings.
This information is currently stored locally on your device unless a future backup, sync, account, or cloud feature is explicitly made available and used by you.
3. Progress Photos
Progress photos you select or capture are used for your in-app progress tracking experience. Under the current local-only implementation, MODOSE does not upload those photos to a MODOSE-operated server.
Your operating system or device backup service may separately back up application data according to your device settings.
4. Analytics
If Anonymous Usage Analytics is enabled, MODOSE uses Aptabase to understand general product usage and improve the app. MODOSE sends product-usage events such as app opens and feature interactions rather than the health-related content you enter into the app.
MODOSE does not intentionally send medication names, dose amounts, weights, notes, symptoms, progress photos, or other user-entered health tracking content to Aptabase.
Analytics may include technical or coarse information associated with an event, such as operating system, app version, general region or country, and session information. You can disable Anonymous Usage Analytics from MODOSE Settings.
5. Crash Reporting
MODOSE uses Firebase Crashlytics to help identify and fix crashes and technical failures. Crash reports may include technical diagnostics such as device and operating-system information, app version, crash stack traces, and related diagnostic identifiers or metadata provided by the platform or Crashlytics SDK.
MODOSE does not intentionally add medication names, doses, weights, notes, symptoms, progress photos, or other health tracking content to crash reports.
6. Notifications and Device Permissions
MODOSE may request permission to send notifications and may request access to features such as your camera or photo library when you choose to use related functionality. You can change permissions through MODOSE Settings or your device settings.
7. Purchases and Subscriptions
If MODOSE offers paid subscriptions or in-app purchases, payment processing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play rather than by MODOSE directly. MODOSE does not receive your full payment-card details.
MODOSE may use a subscription-management provider such as RevenueCat to determine purchase and entitlement status. If enabled, that service may process store transaction and subscription status information necessary to provide Premium access.
8. Support Communications
If you contact support@modose.app, MODOSE may receive the email address you use, the contents of your message, and any information or attachments you voluntarily provide.
9. No Sale of Personal Information; No Advertising
MODOSE does not sell personal information. MODOSE does not use your health-tracking content for advertising and does not currently integrate third-party advertising networks.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored MODOSE data remains on your device until you remove it, reset app data, clear application storage, or uninstall the app, subject to any separate device or platform backups.
Analytics and crash-reporting providers may retain technical event or diagnostic information according to their own retention practices. Support emails may be retained as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, maintain support history, address disputes, or comply with legal obligations.
To request deletion of information that MODOSE directly controls, such as support correspondence, contact support@modose.app.
11. Children
MODOSE is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through MODOSE-operated services.
12. Security
MODOSE uses reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the application and information it handles. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as MODOSE changes. The updated policy will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
